Not to rub it in, but we are still very much in love. Things were always good, but during covid we got even closer. And in the years since, we have loved each others company even more. It is time to celebrate this, with old and new friends, and throw a great party.
Our wedding invitation was made by Carolyn Ridsdale, who made Boom Chicago’s graphics for 1997’s ‘Boomchicago.nl: The Internet and Other Modern Frustrations,’ our turn of the century collage Boom face logo and even Finn’s baby announcement. We remember us as being more attractive at our wedding though…
We have planned a special event in the Amstelkerk, where it all happened 25 years ago. We promise it will be special, delicious, full of drinking, music, fun, with a few nice speeches as well.
For those coming in from out of town, we have planned some extra activities and encourage you to bring your kids, show them Amsterdam and perhaps launch from here to other European destinations.
The Event
The Ceremony will be held on June 29 at the Amstelkerk (Amstelveld 10) at 17:00. It will be followed by dinner, drinks and a boat party on the River IJ (EYE)!

Schedule for the weekend June 27-June 30:
Fly earlier or Friday, June 27 at the latest to arrive on June 28. Can we arrange any babysitting? Adultsitting?
Saturday, June 28
3:30pm - Andrew's tour of Boom Chicago including the history exhibit (Rozengracht 117)
4pm - TBC Arrival drinks followed by Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers podcast taping at Boom Chicago.
6pm - International guests dinner at local Jordaan restaurant
10pm - Shot of improv XXL with alumni guests at Boom Chicago
12 midnight -- Party at Boom Chicago
Sunday, June 29
2pm - Brunch at Andrew and Saskia's (Kerkstraat 156). Then walk to Amstelkerk
5pm - Wedding vows renewal with dinner and speeches, Amstelkerk (Amstelveld 10)
10pm - Party Boat on the IJ River. Inside and outside. Talking, drinking and dancing
12:30am - The tired go home.
Till 2am - Cool kids stay on the boat, docked at Pier 14, Behind Central Station
Monday, June 30
11am TBC - Private coach to the Efteling. Departure and return TBC
Dance Macabre is new for 2025! First in the world new ride system from Vekoma, the creators of Villa Volta

Take the train to Paris (Disneyland Land of Frozen open), Brussels, Antwerp, London (Harry Potter studio tour, amazing ABBA hologram concert, Great new Elvis Immersive experience, Exciting Gunpowder Plot immersive attraction)
Fly to Italy, Greece, Portugal, Croatia, Czech Republic, Scandinavia. Where haven't you been? Where would you return to?

2025 is the fifth year of our comedy festival!
The only gift we would like is for folks to participate as much or as little as they wish in an alumni show the night before. The proceeds go to InterActing (which now has activities in Amsterdam, Den Haag and Eindhoven!).
